Audition Dates: Location—Washington Community Center
· Wednesday evening, April 17, 7-9 pm
· Thursday evening, April 18, 7-9 pm
· Saturday afternoon, April 20, 1-3 pm & 4-6 pm
Call-Backs (if needed), will be Sunday, April 21, 1-3 pm and Tuesday, April 23, 7-9 pm
Scripts available for check-out at Washington Public Library.
Audition Information—Just bring yourself!
Speaking Roles—You will be asked to read scenes from the script (no prepared monologue nor memorization required; scripts are available for check-out at Washington Public Library).
Singing Roles—You will be asked to sing portions of songs from the musical (no memorization required; sheet music available at link below). Sheet music and an accompanist will be provided.

Parents/guardians please come with younger children.
Please be ready to list any conflicts with the rehearsal schedule.
Roles
Adult Females (ages 18+)
· 6 speaking/singing roles (Maria, Mother Abbess, Elsa, Sister Bertha, Sister Margaretta, and Sister Sophia)
· 2 speaking-only/non-singing roles (Frau Schmidt, Baroness Elberfeld)
· Nuns chorus—singing only
Adult Males (ages 18+)
· 2 speaking/singing roles (Capt. Von Trapp, Max)
· 4 speaking-only roles (Franz, Herr Zeller, Baron Elberfeld, Admiral Von Schreiber)
Children/Teens
· 5 girls/teens (Leisl, Louisa, Brigitta, Marta, Gretl)
· 3 boys/teens (Rolf, Friedrich, Kurt)
Rehearsals—Start April 25 with a read-through, then April 29 – June 20 (7-9:30 pm weeknights)
Production Dates—June 21-23 & 28-30 (six performances—Fri & Sat at 7:30 pm, Sun at 2:30 pm)
